Steven Hall
North Florida HOBY Seminar Chairman
Steven is 1997 North Florida HOBY and World Leadership Conference alumnus from Malone, Florida. He has volunteered in many capacities with HOBY at the North Florida Leadership Seminar and World Leadership Conference over the past 13 years. This is his 6th year as Leadership Seminar Chair for North Florida HOBY.
Steven grew up on his family's farm outside of Malone. He attended Chipola Junior College and the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor's degree in Food and Resource Economics in 2003. Steven continued his education at Samford University receiving a Master's Degree in Environmental Management and a Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law in 2006. He is employed with the State of Florida as an attorney. Steven also serves as the Corporate Board President for the Florida Leadership Foundation, the parent foundation for North Florida HOBY.
Tiffany Newsome Hall
North Florida HOBY Assistant Seminar Chair
Tiffany is from Dade City, Florida. She graduated in 2005 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Biology and from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctorate Degree in 2009. While not a HOBY alumnus, Tiffany has volunteered with North Florida HOBY since 2006 and has recently officially married into the program. She currently serves as Assistant Seminar Chair as well as performing all medical duties for the seminar. Tiffany is also active in the alumni chapter of her sorority, Sigma Alpha, and currently serves as Vice President.
Valerie Jones
North Florida HOBY Director of Fundraising
Valerie represented Blountstown High School at the North Florida HOBY seminar in 2003 and has been a volunteer since 2005. She currently serves as Director of Fundraising and Gifts-in-Kind. Val also serves on the Florida Leadership Foundation Corporate Board. After graduating from Blountstown, she attended Chipola College before transferring to the University of Florida. She graduated from the UF in 2008 with degrees in Public Relations and Art History. In her spare time, Valerie enjoys spending time with her friends, reading, acting in student films, and swing dancing.
Brittney Johnson
North Florida HOBY Assistant Director of Fundraising
Brittney is from Jacksonville, Florida and represented Douglas Anderson School of the Arts at North Florida HOBY in 2005. She currently serves as Assistant Director of Fundraising and Gifts-in-Kind. Brittney is a student at Florida State University working towards a Masters degree in Business Management. She is also studying Finance and Marketing.
Michael Carter
North Florida HOBY Director of Recruitment
Michael is a 1989 Mid-Florida HOBY alumnus from Venice, Florida. He has been involved with the HOBY program serving in numerous capacities since 2003 including Facilitator, Director of Recruitment, Director of Fundraiser, Leadership Seminar Chairperson and Corporate Board President. Recruitment is Michael�s favorite volunteer aspect as it allows him to interact with the ambassadors, parents and schools. �There is nothing better than to introduce people to HOBY and tell what an OUTSTANDING impact it has in the lives of those involved�, says Michael.
Michael graduated Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL and received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 1994. He has been employed with Publix Super Markets, Inc for 22 years and resides in Lakeland, Florida with his wife Nancy, and three daughters (all in which he hopes will have the opportunity to share his passion with the HOBY experience)
Neal Brown
North Florida HOBY Director of Seminar Operations
Neal attended North Florida HOBY in 1996. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, Florida in 1998. Neal has been an active volunteer with North Florida HOBY since 1997 and currently serves as Director of Operations.
Neal spent over 8 years in the Florida Army National Guard, 146th Signal Battalion. He has worked with multiple local government agencies including the City of Jacksonville and St Johns County. Currently he is the IT/Service manager for one of the largest power sports dealers in the county. He also has volunteered to manage the North Florida HOBY website and update it as needed. Neal's free time is spent riding motorcycles and promoting motorcycle safety.
Nyasha Riley
North Florida HOBY Director of Team Alumni
Nyasha is the 2003 HOBY alumnus from Florida High School. She has been a volunteer with the North Florida HOBY seminar each year since then, and she currently serves as Director of Team Alumni. Nyasha is a graduate of Florida State University where she received a degree in International Affairs. She is currently attending the University of Central Florida for post-baccalaureate class work and hopes to teach English overseas.
Stacey Livingston
Stacey represented Malone High School at North Florida HOBY in 2002. She has volunteered in many capacities since then, and she currently serves on the leadership team. Stacey is from Malone, Florida. She attended Chipola College before transferring to Florida State University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Business Management. Her and her husband, Joseph now live in Dothan, Alabama.
Jehrad Crews
Jehrad represented Madison County High School in 2005 at North Florida HOBY. He also attended the HOBY World Leadership Conference in 2005. He currently serves on the leadership team. Jehrad is a student at Florida State University where he is pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
